Energy Performance Certification

It has been the law since 2008 that most sellers and landlords will need an EPC for their property in order for it to be marketed, let or sold. An EPC will measure how energy efficient the property is, it’s graded ‘A’ to ‘G’ with an ‘A’ meaning a well insulated and efficient property and a ‘G’ meaning least efficient. An EPC can also act as a useful guide to help improve certain areas of the property’s efficiency, an EPC is valid for 10 years. At Mike Ford Estate Agents we can put you in touch with a local accredited and experienced energy assessor who can carry out an EPC for you, so please Email us or call us on 01664 480422
